I myself have done loads and loads of different things to get subscribers to my list. I mean really I have tried a bunch of stuff online and offline, but there is a couple things that I have always found to work and I want to tell you a little about them. When you are promoting your list you always want to think outside the box, think differently from your competitors. That is what will make you stick out. So try to take these methods, try them out, and maybe turn them into a whole new idea that will work for you.
Writing a bunch of articles to promote your list. Remember this might be a little time consuming.
This is really one of the most effective ways for anyone to promote their list. I have found out that article traffic is something like more responsive than any other kind of traffic. I have developed a method actually to promote my list maybe you can do something like it. I try to write around 10 articles a day and submit them to a couple of different article directories, this is a fairly new project but I will write an article on it in the future.
Posting up flyers around town.
This has also seemed to work pretty well for me. If you want to do this try to post your flyers around mailboxes, grocery stores, and really any place regular people would go. Or better yet people that would be interested in your list online.
