One of the most important parts of building a successful list is building a successful relationship with your subscribers. To do this you want to write with a personal touch, when you write to your subscribers. Write as if you are really talking to someone face to face. This is very important if you want to build a list, having that quality relationship will most of the time determine if you make a sale or not.
Another very important key point is providing a good free information product for people when they subscribe to your list. (This can be a free eBook, course, or really anything that would be useful to people visiting your website.) Without this I don't think very many people would subscribe to your list. It's sort of like fishing.. You don't think a fish would go after an empty hook right? Well it is sort of the same concept here.
** Don't forget about your subscribers, most of the time if you forget about them they have already forgotten you. Keep them updated with free information and never forget to update them with something new. I try to send a couple of emails out every week, and each one is something that I honestly think would be of use to them.
Always advertise your list, don't get comfortable because the more subscribers you have the more money you can make. This alone should motivate you to keep going! Remember list building is a skill, like any other you have to learn it.
