The first step you want to take is to sign up to a quality autoresponder service. Without this you can't build a list! I have tested a couple different autoresponders but the best one I've used to this day is Aweber!
Your second step would be to build your squeeze page (The page you use to get people to subscribe to your list.) You can download a free 1 page HTML squeeze page online for your first one. Now the best way to build your squeeze page would be to include a free gift (A free eBook, guide, anything like that really.) and some info about it. Then your subscription form.
Next you want to write out a couple of emails for your list to receive when they subscribe. The first email you want to welcome them to your list and include a little about yourself and how your list would benefit the subscriber. The next couple of emails you want to give your subscribers free information (Things like articles, maybe another free eBook or report, and really anything they would find useful.) After that you can begin promoting useful products and make some money!
The last step would be actually building your list and getting people to your squeeze page. Now this is where you can get creative. Advertise online, use flyers, website directories and really anything you can think of that would get more people to your site! Remember the more subscribers you have the more money you can make!
