Do You Feel Loved?

Does anyone care about me? I am lonely and nobody loves me. Do these thoughts float in your mind? What if I tell you that someone loves you very much that he gave his very best for you? Well, He is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He is the One who divided the Red Sea, so His people can pass through on dry ground. He provided manna, the bread from heaven, for the children of Israel. He shut the mouths of lions when Daniel was thrown in the lion's den. This mighty, awesome God is my/our Daddy. You and I are fashioned by the Grand Designer and created in His image. He has written your name in palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:16). Visualize this, every time God looks at His palms, He is looking at your name. In a sense, it is like having the photo of a loved one in your wallet and looking at it each time you open the wallet.

He has numbered the hairs on your head (Luke 12:7). The average person has around 100,000 hairs on his/her head. Now, that's a lot of hair. He has not counted the number of hairs, but numbered them. He has given a name to each of the stars in heaven. Psalm 147:4 says, "He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name." Astronomers indicate that there are around 70,000 million million million stars that is 7 followed by 22 zeros. Here is another fact, every day 155,000 people die that is at least two every second. So if you woke up this morning and did not find your name in the obituary column, you have every reason to thank God for giving another day. He has assigned angels to each of us for protecting us from harm. Psalm 91:11 says, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." God knows you by name and has a fantastic plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Do You Feel Loved?

God loves us so much that he gave His one and only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our redemption from sin. Jesus Christ left the glorious fellowship of the Father and the adoration and worship of the angels, took upon human flesh, traveled across the cosmos to save people like us. Jesus Christ would have died just for you, even if there had been no one else to be redeemed. God thinks of you as priceless and you are special in His eyes. Christian Books and Music
