subject: Organize Yourself With Kitchen Cabinet Handles [print this page]

When referring to cabinet handles, people usually have some drawers or cabinet doors in mind, which is very normal. However, cabinet handles can be attached to places other than doors or drawers so as to serve different purposes. If there happens to be any spare handles lying around your dwelling, collect them, and attach them to your kitchen walls, to use them as a hanging rack for cooking utensils. This will allow you to maximize your drawer space which in turn will allow you to become a more organized individual.

The important thing to do before ever installing any knobs is to make sure that theyll fit, both dimensionally and style-wise, because trust me, there is nothing worse than hanging something on your wall which ends up looking way out of place. If you want to complement your handles, you can always purchase some small metal hooks; theyll do the job just fine at a negligible price.

The best places to install handles as rack substitutes would be under cabinetry. These racks will be mostly used for various cooking utensils, so placing them somewhere near a stove (or wherever it is you cook) would be a great idea. Now comes the question of spacing your racks. If your walls have a large, unused surface, agglomerate all the handles around a smaller area so as to be organized by putting everything in one location. If, however, there is a lack of space, even for small racks, then put one here and one there, but in that case only you can decide where to put what handles.

Once the cabinetry handles have been installed, place 2-3 metal s-hooks in each of them, so that the curved part ends up facing up. Doing so will permit you to quickly and elegantly stow away your utensils as well as provide fast access to them whenever needed. Not only that, but your new racks will allow you to clear up some space in your kitchen drawers, guaranteeing an increase in cooking performance.
