This park also offers boat rides. The bottom of the boats is made of glass so you can see the fishes underneath.
3. Visiting Animals at the Zoo - The Manila Zoo was established in in 1959. It is the oldest Asian zoo. It has more than one hundred species of animals. It is one of the famous tourist spots in the Philippines.
4. Learning about the Philippine History - The national museum of the Philippines can also be found in Manila city. It is the place where visitors can see different artifacts and relics from the time that were used before the Spaniards came until the Second World War.
5. Visiting the Museum in Malacanang Palace - The Malacanang Palace is the official residence of the president of the Philippines. It was built in 1863 as a summer house for the governor-general from Spain. Today you can visit the museum where you can see different collections of items owned by the former presidents and their wives. One of the lovely collections you will see is the shoe collection of Imelda Marcos.
6. Having a picnic in Luneta Park - This is the place where the hero of the Philippines, Dr. Jose Rizal was executed. Today you can visit this site in Manila and also have a nice picnic with your family. Luneta Park has the Chinese Garden where families usually have their picnic.
7. Seeing the Mall of Asia - The Mall of Asia is the third largest shopping center in the whole world and the largest one in the Philippines. This mall has become one of the main tourist attractions in Manila city. It is made up of four buildings namely; main mall, entertainment mall, south car park and the north car park. The mall can actually park five thousand cars. This is the best place to shop because you will find every kind of shop in this mall. It also features a large ice skating rink and an IMAX cinema where guests can watch movies in 3-D. The mall also has a museum for science and discovery.
