The article centres around the notoriously known 510 atomizer of electronic cigarettes. The 510 vapourette electronic cigarette has been on the market for some time now. No Vaper will be without one in their collection. That and a 901.
Many manufacturers mainly chinese have made the 510 in general but only very few have perfected them in particular the atomizer. The 510 atomizer is like a lottery, you can buy 5 or 10 of them, one will work well for weeks on end yet another will be dead as soon as you screw it to the battery. However not all 510 atomizers are like that if you know where to look.
Personallyi have had my fair share of faulty 510 atomizers. I have been vaping since march this year (2010). I can tell you i have tried almost everything that is available on the market todat as far as electronic cigarettes are concerned hence writing this article.
To be honest though, i have not gone into the very serious stuff that other die hard vapers go into as in Mods (modifications) thats what they call them neither i'm into mixing my own E-liquid. So far i just stick with one good manufacturer of eliquid and thats it.
Back to the subject of 510. The main well know manufacturer of 510 is Joyetech followed by Janty and then Bogetech. The first 2 have almost cornered the market for that type of electronic cigarettes. Bogetech however are trailing not far behind at all yet they are not that well known as much as Joyetech.
The companies i have tried for 510 atomizers are SLB, JSB, Bauway, Joyetech and Boge. I also have had some totally unbranded ones in my trials the past few months.
SLB (also known as Zenith I think) were not good at all for me. JSB was and still is a very good atomizer and lasts a good while and can take a pounding and still function properly. However there is a drawback to the JSB 510 atomizer. You can only fit JSB's cartridges in it. If you try to fit a regular 510 cartridge it will be too loose and will come off which is a great shame as they are very reliable. If you can live with that, then it is a good choice.
I will be writing a seperate article about JSB's product soon.
I liked the Joyetech as they were reliable to an extent and as mentioned earlier its a pot luck sort of thing.
I usually buy my e-liquid from Bogetech which do manufacture a 510 too. They have a 510 and a 510L, the 510L being 3mm longer than the usual 510 and the atomizer of the 510L has a gold band which distinguishes it from its smaller 510 counterpart. I opeted for the 510L about 4 months ago and ordered a few of them to see how they would fair against the Joyetech 510.
Finally i found what i was looking for. An atomizer that performs well and lasts longer (i got 3 months out of mine) and i am a heavy vaper. I must admit that i have 3 or 4 vapourette electronic cigarettes going at any one time but still it is a good result.
In conclusion i can honestly say that the Boge 510L atomizer is the king of them and that is out of my personal experience and not just by listening to others. I have not had a 510 atomizer that lasted that length of time.
You can have a look at the comparison between joyetech and bogetech atomizers on the website www.vapourettes.com by goind to the 510L page where there is a photo that shows the difference between the 2.
I hope this article has shed some light on the subject of 510 atomizers but if you have any questions please feel free to email me at info@vapourettes.com
