subject: Get Him Back Or Just Move On - What Should You Do? [print this page]

Just because you broke up with him does not mean that you suddenly stopped loving him. After all, he was your boyfriend and you shared so much with him during the time the two of you were together. Does it all have to just end or is there a way that you can rekindle things, even maybe get him back in the process?

Some people say that when a relationship ends, that it happens for a reason and that you should just move on and get over it. And many times, they are right for saying that. However, that does not apply to all situations. There are times when a relationship breaks up and the reality is, the two people would be better of together, more than they would be apart. If that is the way that you feel, then you might be looking for a way to get your boyfriend back.

It's up to you whether or not you decide to try and get him back, but there are some things that you should know before you try. Otherwise, you could end up losing him for good if you try the wrong ways to get him back.

Here's some advice on what may work out for you:

1) Your ex boyfriend needs to know that there is no pressure on him to get back together.

One thing is for sure. If you apply too much pressure on your ex boyfriend to get back together, then you probably will not get much of a chance to convince him that you are the one. If you want to have the best chance possible of getting him back, then he needs to know that there is no pressure on him to make a decision right away. Let him be, and you just might find out that things work out much easier for you.

2) You need to make sure that you are not only thinking of him.

It's easy to get a one track mind and start thinking about your ex boyfriend night and day, but that is only going to make you feel worse about not having him in your life right now, and more than likely it will also make you start to feel desperate to get his attention. Most of the time, when you are desperate to get a guy's attention, things just do not work out the way that you hope they would.

3) You need to know what guys really think and feel about relationships.

It's hard to get a good idea, especially when most of the advice that you might be getting is probably coming from other women. Getting inside a man's mind and understanding what they really think and feel about relationships is not always easy, but there are some guides that will help you to see things from his perspective and get a much better idea on what you should be doing to get him back.
