Cars have been used by man for many years, but not everyone knows where it came from, and how it started. People living today are enjoying the use of cars or automobiles, which give them a lot of comfort when they travel. Many innovators have worked hard during the early ages just to give life to this mechanism that we now know as cars.

The birth of automobiles is still being identified and debated by scholars in order to provide people with a more accurate explanation. There are evidences, though, that show cars were first powered by steam and wind. According to some findings, the first car was developed by Ferdinand Verbiest for the Chinese Emperor in 1672. However, a more accurate discovery says that the first car ever made was developed in 1769 where a man named Nicolas Cugnot, a military engineer, invented a vehicle powered by steam to carry heavy cannons. His design was composed of a cart with three wheels, but can only move back and forth.

After some time in 1801, Richard Trevithick, a British mining engineer, improved the previous steam-powered cars to a much smaller one. It was his invention that made the first vehicle to run without the use of horses. This locomotive he made was named the "Puffing Devil" which is composed of a stronger, smaller, and lighter boiler. Years have passed and automobiles evolved as humans did. Today, there are several cars with different features and speed.

In Indianapolis, various cars with different capacities and speeds are sold in Indianapolis auto dealerships. New and pre-owned cars are being sold by car dealers in this city. These car dealers offer a wide range of services such as repair and insurance along with selling cars. Most of the dealers here usually sell factory stock cars, which means, no upgrades or enhancements are made to the interior or exterior of the car.

Indianapolis auto dealers can also offer spare parts of the cars they sell in case defects occur within its warranty period. Used cars are also sold in these shops. Of course, in this case, bargains and negotiations are most probable, wherein prices vary from the cars' original prices.

Indianapolis auto dealerships can also repair cars they don't sell. Spare parts are sold and skillful mechanics are there to give you a hand in whatever car issue you might have.
