A DISTINCTIVE Chanel shopping bag, Versace dish and jewellery were among a haul worth more than 25,000 stolen from a Kidderminster home.
Police are now appealing for information following the burglary at a property off Oldnall Road in the Aggborough area, which happened between Friday (November 12) and around midday yesterday (Monday, November 15).
Thieves broke in and made an untidy search before taking a large amount of boxed jewellery, predominantly gold, along with other distinctive items including chinaware.
A black and white, cloth shopping bag, with the Chanel logo in gold, was one of two identical bags at the house but only one was stolen.
It measures approximately 2ft by 2ft and it is believed it was used to carry away some of the other items such as a rectangular, black and red patterned Versace dish and a fruit design Aynsley China bowl which was one of a pair.
The haul also included Coalport China and gold Hunter watches.
Detective Constable Debbie Cleary, of Kidderminster CID, said: "Naturally the owner was shocked to find she had been burgled and the amount taken.
"We are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, or vehicles, in that area over the weekend.
"The haul included some very distinctive items and we would also ask anyone who may have seen any of them, or have been offered them for sale, to contact us as a matter of urgency."
