Content marketing is KING... and if you have a keyboard, and a willingness to work, you can literally go into ANY market you want, and own as many eyeballs as you choose.....often for FREE, and only limited by how much content you are willing to create to get there.

18 months ago (in early 2009) I went into one of the MOST highly competitive and most expensive markets online as an affiliate....armed ONLY with my keyboard, a little bit of keyword research, and a willingness to outwork my competition.
In a market where the ads cost 2 dollars PLUS per click, I generated close to 90 thousand visitors in 6 months or so.....completely with FREE traffic, emanating from the clicks on my content.
My competition? Every time someone clicked on THEIR ads.....they were paying 2 dollars or more...and having been there before, I KNOW how stressful, and how much sleep you can lose when that is how you get your traffic.
Me? I slept like a baby.....because my traffic, coming from the content I had written, often weeks or MONTHS earlier, continued coming without costing me a cent, and to be totally honest with you, here in 2010, that very same traffic STILL comes in each and every day, whether I pay attention, or not. (typically.....I don't even look, other than every 2 weeks when I process my affiliate receipts)
The point is, you CAN literally outsmart, out perform and out PULL your competition in any niche you want, and I'll endeavor to add, the BIGGER the ocean, the larger the opportunity. There is literally NO market to big if you are a content marketing master...and believe me when I tell you, the ONLY requirement to get there is a keyboard and the discipline to make it happen.
