Isolate the ONE thing you want your article to achieve, and focus ferociously on that one thing.
BIG markets = BIG profits: More than anything else, this is the biggest lesson you need to integrate into your marketing, if you choose to use content, or articles to build your business. Stay away from micro-niches. Avoid "owning" the markets that are overlooked... because they will rarely make you money. Categorize your content in the MOST competitive categories, too... as this can dramatically improve the amount of eyeballs that get in front of your sites, services, offers or ideas.
Test EVERYTHING. Long titles versus short. Longer resources versus short, concise ones. Test your LANDING pages, too... as I've had some opt in pages convert at 50%... and others, at 10. (this alone can be the biggest difference between a RICH full time income... and JUST getting tantalizing close, but never making enough to get by) Don't sweat the small stuff and keep your content INFORMATIVE... but leave them inquisitive enough to want to know more. Writing a 1000 word article is not nearly as good as writing 3 400 word articles for a VARIETY of reasons, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
