Stone chips are the most common type of car body damage that affects all types of cars. They generally occur when driving on motorways or main roads where the car in front's tyres flick up small stones from the roads surface toward the car following behind. There is a big difference on price between the smart repair service and body shop service where the body shop is the more expensive. You could always just repair the stone chips yourself, the best way to do this is not to try and spray them with an aerosol for you can't control the flow and are more likely to make a mess of the repair than make it any better, try and buy a touch up stick and touch in the stone chips with an artist brush, it won't make them look perfect but it will take them off the eye when you glance at them.
