Two schools of thought are evident in Marrakech. There is a vibrant nightlife available for those that wish to celebrate and relax. There are numerous hotels in Marrakech and many provide in-house entertainment for travellers and locals alike. Perhaps the most famous of the hotel bars is in the La Mamounia Hotel. Le Bar Churchill is a glamorous bar with a strictly enforced dress code for party goers. It features art deco and Moorish design and reflects the 1930s jazz lifestyle.
Street Music Fills Jemaa el Fna
Music is best at the famous Jemaa el Fna. From just after sunset to late into the evening, you will find street music of the finest type. You will listen to guitars, flutes, banjos, lutes, drums, and homemade violins. The music reflects the local culture and is a combined African and rhythmic style.
Pacha Marrakech
Pacha Marrakech features the international playboy scene. They employ disc jockeys from all over the world including Amsterdam and New York City. Weeknights are sparse with visitors, while weekends see the place full and hopping.
