Founded in 1870, this respectable community has been dramatically expanded and developed. Nowadays it has recognition and high reputation all over the world. For the last decade, the Penn Stat Alumni Association has made its activities the most important ones in the world. In addition, this organization pursues very philosophical and even noble goals. So, postgraduate students honored to be enclosed in this community should do their best to contribute to the development of international relations.

What is the mission of Penn Stat Alumni Association?

Like any other international organization, the alumni association strives to connect all alumni to the University for the purpose of sharing experience with each other and to provide useful service to the members. In addition to the above, the community provides support for the University goal of teaching, service and research. At the present moment, this mission is carried out through the following programs and events:

1.Billboards and City Lights educational programs located in major cities of the East Coast

2.Pep rallies presented at all sport events and football matches in particular.

3.Faculty lectures and conferences dedicated to the considered mission.

4.Reunion weekends.

The basic points of the strategic plan for 2008-2011

1.The augmentation of membership growth.

2.Service and support enhancement to alumni groups.

3.Strengthening and improvement of stuff development and support for favorable position of the association.

4.The introduction of the student-oriented policy and attraction of younger alumni to the community.

5.Increase of revenue and financial support of the Alumni Association.

6.Improvement of legislative advocacy and education within the community.

7.The introduction of cultural diversity tendencies and correspondent education.

8.The creation and sustainability of strong relationship with the Penn State educational establishments.
