subject: How A Home Cleaning Schedule Helps You Keep The House Cleaning [print this page]

A house cleaning schedule can be made on a daily, weekly or even a monthly basis, but with a cleaning schedule you wouldn't have to think what to clean each day but a chart like this can point out to you what needs to be done. It does make house cleaning so much easier and you will find you will be much more organized with your home cleaning.

When writing a home cleaning schedule, try to prioritize your cleaning activities and divide them into a daily, weekly or monthly list. Try to divide your cleaning sessions into manageable chores that you could easily undertake within a reasonable time.

A home cleaning schedule can be concentrated on two dimensions namely: the rooms which needs to be cleaned and secondly, the frequency it has to be cleaned. You can divide your tasks so that the house is completed according to the rooms you have in your home.

Here is a list of some activities that will help you get started:

Kitchen: cleaning all the utensils, stove, counterparts and even the floor is a daily job, as you cannot postpone them to even the next day. The dishwasher needs to be cleaned every week and as a monthly cleaning you can remove the utensils from its cupboards and clean the cupboard with adequate supplies.

Bathrooms: cleaning your bathrooms and toilets should be a daily job, or at least a touch up each day, and re-stocking your supplies can be associated to a weekly basis. A full clean can be done each week with the scrubbing and cleaning of faucets and other moulds inside the washroom done as a monthly activity.

Bedrooms: dusting your blankets, sheets and pillows in your bedroom will be a daily job while you may include the cleaning and wiping of tabletops and nightstands in the bedroom as a weekly activity.

Living room: this is the most used part of the house and does require a lot of cleaning of table tops, chairs and couches. Hence you need to include them as a daily activity or at least every couple of days. You can vacuum your couch once a week and dust the insides of cupboards on a monthly basis.

Other rooms: if you have other rooms, such as family rooms and games rooms, then the cleaning of these rooms depends upon the frequency they are being used. If you have a room that is in constant use, obviously the cleaning would also need to be done daily.

Using a home cleaning schedule is one of the most effective ways to prioritize your cleaning activities and keep them organized. Maintaining a schedule and sticking to it will make the cleaning tasks easier for you and you won't have to worry how to clean those piles of dust and dirt or when they need to be done. Every house cleaning schedule depends upon the size of the house, the rooms it has and the items that are used. Hence every schedule depends upon the way the members use the house and the chart can be altered according to each home maker's preference.
