As these types of sidings have good qualities, bad qualities can also be found as well. Easy to rot is the biggest problem with wood siding. If it's not painted fully, rain can get inside thus rot. Vinyl siding is dangerous to be near flames as it can melt. Cement siding can crack that could lead to further problems if not attended early.
