Skateboarding Tips & Tricks
Regardless of how much experience you might have in skateboarding, we're able to all do with a few tips and tricks to make us even better. We will talk about helpful skateboarding tips which will make you save lots of agony.
Should you hope skateboarding being without having injuries....reconsider, perhaps this sports activity is not for you. Look at the professionals, even these people fall frequently. I suppose if you can't handle a fall occasionally, my best advice is to quit, since there is no other way around it
You can keep your injuries to a minimim if yyou consider some helpful hints.
Probably the least difficult thing you can do is wear the proper protective equipment, for example a helmet, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards. In case your a bloke you might wanna consider wearing a cup. (testicle guard) there is absolutely nothing more intense than throwing your board and it smacks you right in you know what....ooch!!!!
I do understand that putting on protective equipment is a helpful routine that is hard to get used to (kind of like flossing), but it's not just to safeguard from injury. Protection gear provides the self-confidence to do things that litte little bit riskier knowing should you fall it's not going to hurt that much. Iv'e know people who have fallen and injured their head that bad that they are hospitalised for a few months in a coma.....no joke.
Always try to skate within your limitations.. What does this imply? learn the basic skills first and slowly progress to much harder tricks, it's really like anything else, learn to crawl, walk and run you know the drill. Don't jump on your first skateboard and attempt the toughest and most dangerous stunts first.
Another important skill to learn is for a skateboarder to fall and protect him/her/ the right way..
The best way to do this is to practise close to lawn and rehearse falling and protecting yourself. At the same time try rolling over and safeguarding your delicate parts.....make sure you have your protective gear on. .
Never stick your arms and hands out. This is hard to do, as your natural instincts will be to stick your hands and arms out to protect yourself.
This does not help you at all. If you don't train yourself you are most likely to sustain injuries to your hands and wrists...,probably minor fractures.. When you do the tuck and roll, you will walk awy with just a few minor scratches, bruises and scrapes on your arms and back. There are numerous instances that i see people skating with shorts and T-shirts another tip is to wear clothes which provide some natural protection.
