subject: Improve Organization With Kitchen Cabinet Handles [print this page]

If I was to ask you what was the first thing that springs into your mind when I talk about cabinet handles, youd probably say some drawers or kitchen cabinets, which would be a very common response, as that is the place where theyre usually installed. If youd happen to have some spare handles lying about, you can attach them to walls to use as hanging racks to free up some space in your drawers or cabinets. If youd like to take that further, you can go as far as purchasing metal hooks and various similar items to complement your kitchen cabinet handles.

Before you install any handles, make sure that they go well with the walls you want to put them into, because if thats not the case theyll stick out like a real eye-sore.

The most efficient place to install such racks would be under the existing cabinet hardware. Since these racks will be used mostly for cooking utensils, Id suggest you find a place near the stove so as to be more efficient. If there is a lot of open space on your walls, Id advise you to hang the handles all in one area so that your cooking utensils dont end up all over the place. If, however, you do lack the needed space, you should install some cabinet handles here and there so as to have your kitchen utensils available at all times.

Once the handles are in place, place from 2 to 4 s-hooks in them, so as to make the curved bottom part of the hook come up on the outside. With this nifty little contraption, youll now be able to hang your cooking utensils wherever you want to while at the same time clearing out some drawer space, thus allowing you to be more organized and prolific in your own kitchen.
