Father's Day is quickly approaching and it is time to think about what to get dad on this day. Ditch the idea of running to the mall to purchase him another tie to collect dust in his closet. The only time he wears ties is when he is forced to attend a Father's Day Brunch "tie required" venue. The man doesn't even like ties! What else is on your list, a wallet? Be creative man. Next, you are going to suggest giving him a beer koozie you got free during Spring Break as a promotional item at some club event. Is a koozie truly appropriate to give to the man that paid for your trip so you could spend a week of debauchery, binge drinking, and watching wet t-shirt contests on a beach providing you with the best time of your life? No! It is not. You need to think of something grandeur. Since you seem to be at a loss for what to get him this year, I am going to help you think of a gift your dad will love for years to come.

If Your Father Loves Beer, then Here is the Perfect Gift!
I do not drink, and I do not promote drinking, but if your father loves beer, then get him a beer maker kit. Alternatively, what about a day trip to a local brewery? Arrange a car with a driver, so no one has to worry about a designated driver. Enjoy the day drinking, hanging out, eating, and tasting different beers. It is the perfect gift for every beer drinker regardless of his personality. It suits everyone from the low-key to the life of the party father.
Buy Him Season Tickets
Here is a gift for you for me present. By this I mean, if you buy your dad two season tickets to his favorite local sporting team, then you may benefit from it by being asked to come along to some, or all of the games. It is a win-win situation. And if the tickets are a bit prices, ask mom to pitch in. Talk to a few cousins. Round the usual suspects, ask for money, because this is a father's day gift he will appreciate...unless you live in Detroit and get him Detroit Lions tickets. Then you may wish to rethink the gift and move on to my next idea.
Pizza Makes the World Go Round
No man really wants to get dressed up to go out for Father's Day, unless there are beverages and pizza involved. So why not take dad for a night out to a gourmet pizza restaurant. There is something for every taste. You may choose a pizza as sophisticated or as simple as you like. There is a kids' menu, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, salads, sandwiches, and pizza with toppings uncommon to find anywhere else. It adds to the night. It will satisfy every member of the family no matter how old or young each person is. It is the ideal solution meeting everyone's food needs.
