subject: Chuck Reynolds, Excel Group, Management Resolutions For 2011? [print this page]

Chuck Reynolds and Excel Group ask, "What Management Resolutions will you make for 2011?" Make your New Years Resolutions for Management Development and Coaching Success in 2011.

Many are predicting the world economy will continue to be challenging in 2011. Recent US job statistics were disappointing. As organizations and managers struggle to find ways to "do more with less", the website MyManagementResolutions.com is opening up dialogue by collecting ideas and feedback from managers and employees, asking what resolutions managers will or should commit to in the new year in order to produce superior engagement.

"With increasing global economic challenges and less staff, the challenge to engage staff for superior performance will remain throughout the New Year", says Chuck Reynolds, Chief Performance Officer of Excel Group Development, which sponsors the site. Reynolds also appears in a video promoting the site, which is attracting attention on YouTube and other sites.

"What we're seeing now is that many organizations are running very lean, and managers need to value staff engagement and ideas. We thought it would be interesting to challenge managers to give some thought to how they plan to enhance their leadership skills and also collect some information in the form of data from both managers and employees. Who knows perhaps in North America, Mr. Obama and Mr. Harper will share their thoughts with us as leaders."

The MyManagementResolutions.com survey is open to all whether they manage others or are employees who report to a manager. Excel Group will publish results of the feedback on Monday January 3rd, 2011 after approximately a month of collecting data from managers and staff online.
