Sarah Palin, like it or not, has become a prominent figure for the far (gone) right and the said queen of Fox Views (News). She has put herself in a very particular situation that allows her to be without consequence for the things she says or does. At this point she is not a politician, she is nothing more than a pundit.
Currently Palin receives 6 figures for every speech opportunity she receives and since her run as potential Vice President she has become a multi-millionaire (circa $12 million). In her lack luster ability to run her mouth, she has been in front of several audiences for several occasions. Recently at a Real Estate Conference (ICSC RECon Conference) she was poorly reviewed by the organization due to the content that her speech surrounded. She spouted off Right talking points to a crowd that attended to discuss about Real Estate. I'm uncertain if she could only speak of elements written only on her hand or if she was able to improvise.. I digress as she still was paid and left happily for it.
The point is, she is quite wealthy without the White House. She has no responsibility to anyone and she will continue to make tons of money due to the simplistic people who persist on following her. I think she knows she does not have the cerebral aptitude to become President and even if she could get there she'd fail miserably. She falters when it comes to reading comprehension and deriving solutions that require the knowledge of a working government. She took weeks to figure out what the Vice President actually did and she still squabbled aimlessly missing the mark by a wide margin. Her interviews with Couric were so difficult for her she had to make a diversion by pointing the fingers back at 'lame stream media' for 'gotcha politics'. The fact is that she skimmed through College jumping from school to school trying to evade actual real coursework, she QUIT her term as Governor most likely for the money, and couldn't even win a Beauty pageant (a close 3rd place).
Her recent Breast Augmentation was a result of her attempt to match her cup size with her ego. Likewise, if she does not keep her ego in check and stay away from a Presidential bid, I believe she'll end up losing everything in the process.
