Ideal DVD to Avi Converter 2.0.4 has just released. This version added a lot of new fixed files for protected DVDs, such as She's out of my league, Shutter Island, From Paris with love, Alice in wonderland, Insanity, The princess and the frog, Old Dogs, Moon etc.
In order that users can rip the proteced DVDs at the first time as we fixed, we added auto-update anti-copy protection files feature. If you enable this feature, then every time you open Ideal DVD to Avi Converter, it will automatically check and download the fixed files from our server. In this version, we also added the following new features:
1.Support Keeping Ac3 5.1 audio track.
With our "Internal MPEG-4 codec", the output avi file will still be 5.1 when ripping a DVD with AC3 5.1 audio track.
2.Added crop to 2.35:1 zoom method.
Nowadays, most DVDs are in 2.35:1, this kind of aspect radio movie itself has black bars on the top and bottom, if you want to get rid of the black bars, then you can choose "Crop to 2.35:1" on profile tab of the "Configuration" window.
3.Support previewing and convert forced subtitle.
We also did some improvements and fixes in this version. For example, we improved ripping process. Now before ripping protected DVDs, Ideal DVD to Avi Converter will auto-check if there's a fixed file on our sever, thus, once we fixed a DVD, you may rip it in time.
