Marketing a business in New York City is quite a difficult task Competition within the city is very fierce. Creating a new business or marketing an existing business and succeeding is no walk in the park.

These marketing mediums need to be utilized on a daily basis being lazy is not allowed.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an integral part of marketing a New York City company via the web and focuses on placing the company website at the top of search engines, which will increase exposure, increase website traffic, and ultimately increase revenue. For example, if a restaurant is known for having the best BBQ in NYC, they better rank at the top of search engines (e.g. Google) for such. The same applies to other types of businesses including law firms, accounting firms, hotels, spas, car dealerships, clothing stores, financial institutions, jewelry stores, electronics stores and every other type of business one can imagine.

Lastly, I highly suggest businesses in New York City look into hiring a Social Media consultant or an SEO consultant. Bringing in a professional will eliminate the trial and error period inherent with learning SM/SEO as well as hundreds of hours of research. The goal is to make progress now today not wait till the learning curve has subsided to see real, tangible results.
