I've got a secret. By the end of this article you should know this little secret. I would say that it is worth quite a bit of money, but I'm going to be giving it all away to you for free.
Why? Because I want to see other people succeed without spending endless amounts of cash on worthless online programs that do more to drain their wallet than actually help them improve their financial situation.
See, I used to sit around all day wondering how to make extra money through the internet. I used to fantasize about being able to just "log in" to work rather than clock in somewhere and listen to a boss who has some sort of rather uncomfortable object crammed in a rather uncomfortable place.
I read the articles on and offline about how these people in their early twenties were making it rich with websites like Youtube, or establishing the online "yard sale" website Craigslist. And, I would think to myself, there has to be an easier way. There has to be some way to earn a little extra cash through working on your own independently and providing an electronic service.
Then, I was speaking to a relative one day after I had had a pretty rough one at the job. He told me that a friend of his was doing something online that earned him close to fifteen hundred dollars in a single week.
That peeked my interest alone. He then went on to tell me that some of that money was earned while this friend of his slept. Okay, I'm hooked, I need to know more. He did his best to explain to me what he was doing, and him not being very internet savvy struggled through the explanation for a few more minutes.
This left me wanting quite a bit more information, so I asked for the contact information of this friend of his that had actually succeeded in making this kind of money. Within a couple days I had managed to reach him. He started breaking down the steps on how to make money on the internet his way.
I was amazed. It was so simple. Sure, it required effort and taking action (which are two very key parts on how to make money on the internet). But, it wasn't anything very technical. It wasn't something that was going to take a lot of beforehand knowledge.
He just asked me a few questions to see if it was possible to teach me how to make money on the internet. Those questions were:
1. Can you write a decent sentence?
2. Do you know enough HTML to place a link in an article? (Not that hard to learn if you don't)
3. Can you search for information on a search engine (e.g. Google)
Yes. Yes. Yes. I was loving where this was going, I was going to learn how to make money on the internet before the end of the night. Of course, there were a few other things that he had to tell me to save a little trouble.
He told me about a course where he learned a lot of this. Recommended another that was more of a jump start, but he stated that he highly recommended it. He said I didn't have to buy either one of them, but if I wanted to jump on the fast track and learn how to make money on the internet by the end of the month, then I should.
He sold me. Although, I didn't sign up under his links, he didn't make a dime off of me. In retrospect I wish that I had. Just out of thanks for the gold he handed me. But, I couldn't get back in touch with him to do this, and I didn't completely understand how everything worked at that time.
Out of the two programs the course was more thorough and provided a community of support in their forums. The course was great, but I would recommend that anyone go for the beginners course before any other program, "quick start" or otherwise.
