HP Deskjet K209 is a printer copier cum scanner suitable for offices as well as homes. Professional quality prints are provided with its thermal inkjet technology. It appears good with complete black appearance and designed to be placed in small space on the desk. It is easily portable as it weighs less than 10 pounds. It makes office work easy with its capability to copy scan and print stationeries. It is suitable for printing documents, greeting cards, labels, envelopes and borderless photographs. The all in one printer has Hi Speed USB 2.0 port to connect external devices. It is compatible with OS Mac OS X v10.4, v10.5, v10.6; Windows Vista (32 and 64-bit), Windows XP, Windows 7 ready. Black text prints are sharp and dark with HP 337 ink cartridge. Pigment based black dye makes laser like prints that do not smudge. Tri color ink cartridge makes lab like color photos and graphs with natural color with finer grains. For easy everyday use paper trays are designed well. Feed in tray has maximum capacity of 80 sheets and out tray has maximum capacity of 15 sheets. The printer is not provided with an envelope feed tray. Direct copies can be made with the copier without connecting to a computer. Maximum number of copies it can make is 9 copies. The copier has reduction and enlargement range of 25% to 200%. It provides copies as clear as original with 600 dpi optimized resolution for black and 1200 dpi optimized resolution for color. Copier speed is acceptable with 29 copies per minute speed for black in draft mode and 23 copies per minute for color in draft mode.
