When I started this blog (http://www.markkumar.com), I had no idea that it would get this popular this quick. I figured I would just a post once a month. In those posts, I would just write what I know, what I like, or whatever and see how things went.
To my surprise, people actually liked and some of them loved what I had to say. So much so that they left numerous comments and rated my posts. So, T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U G-U-Y-S!!!!
You know what the best part was??? I was just myself and not try to be very "corporate". I just wrote my posts in a way like I was just talking to my friends. In a way, my blog show my personality. Who I am? What I like or dislike? How passionate I am about photography? It's just Me >>> Myself >>> I.
That's why I think photographers' blog should have their personality. Who is the real you? What you like? What do you stand for? The more real you keep it. The more you will connect with people and the more friends you will make.
Think about it from this point of view. If a potential client visit's your blog, they love your blog because it shows the real you. So, they decide to contact you. When they talk to you in person, you have the same personality as you showed on your blog. So, they feel this instant connection with and decide to use your service.
Like they say, people like to do business with people they like.
