Article 14: Second Day Of Loading For Prescription HCG

Before we get started with the Prescription HCG business...Happy Thanksgiving! So do you agree with me now? We totally chose the absolute most perfect day to start the prescription HCG diet. Thanksgiving went really well.

I kept to the HCG rules for weight loss exactly AND I enjoyed all the traditional Thanksgiving Day items. It was heavenly.

1st thing in the am (after I got up) I went ahead and weighed myself. I took my prescription HCG right after I weighed myself and then had some B-Total sublingual drops. Once that was finished...I went ahead and had cinnamon rolls for breakfast. That's right...plural. I had 2. It is a loading day after all.

During the loading days you're supposed to eat a lot of high fat foods. And when it comes to fatty foods, cinnamon rolls place kind of high up on the charts. It was the perfect beginning for a loading day. After breakfast I made an applie pie for the Thanksgiving gathering. I snacked on spiced apples during the process, of course. Thanksgiving being in progress ensured that there were tons of yummy foods around the house for me to include in my 'loading.'

So loading wasn't a problem. I just let myself reach for whatever was available in the vicinity while I helped get the BIG dinner ready for the afternoon celebration. I was definitely not having a problem loading.

While I didn't have a problem loading...it is one of the "common mistakes" that is listed for dieters who fail to reach their weight loss goals at Prescription HCG. Apparently it's important. If you don't get enough fat during that time you end up with additional struggles during the very low calorie diet. Failed loading days can result in headaches, extra crankiness, hunger pains and more.

I don't want any of those things to make it harder for me to stick to the diet. So I'm doubly glad that I did a great job of loading. I think it will be hard enough to stick to the tough rules of the diet without adding any more trouble to the pot.

Because it is Thanksgiving I am going to say that the prescription HCG plan appears to be a total piece of "pie." I had Thanksgiving dinner with my loved ones. I ate (and enjoyed) all the traditionally wonderful items (mashed potatoes and gravy, ham, turkey, casserole, corn on the cob, pie, pie and more pie). And don't think I only tried one of the available pies. I tasted each one in turn. It was really tasty and the perfect way to end my 2nd day of loading. Now I'm ready to start the VLCD portion of the diet. We begin tomorrow!
