You should take care of it all the time, but it is especially important if you don't feel satisfied of your occupation in the given field.

Signs of Problems in Your Career

Several decades ago a person could determine that his/hers profession is in danger, when there were no advances in office. Nowadays it is hard to detect problems with your career and you should turn your attention to the following signs:

You are unable to study further;

You fall behind with mastering new skills;

You don't regularly contribute to success of your organization;

You have no other places to work.

First of all, you have to realize your present position and then to decide where you would like to move. Then you have to determine your goals, even to draft your way upwards and all the ideas which will help you to achieve your goal. It means that you have to determine the aims of career and to make a plan of their gaining. You should take into account that there are certain limitations in career planning as there are still some factors that are too unpredictable.

You should make a complete analysis of your skills, abilities, knowledge, and experience. Also, you have to figure out what can become a nuisance or even a threat in order to reach your goal. You have to determine all your advantages in order to avoid these threats. There are four rules of successful career planning:

You have to broaden your outlook. It is necessary to seek for something new as everything can be helpful in moving forward;

You should trust your intuition and reject all pessimists on your way;

You must bank on the best results, you must believe in victory;
