subject: Advertising Items As Employee Incentives [print this page]

Employees within your firm do the job to ensure that you are thriving. You pay these folks. They work. That doesn't mean this is when the giving ought to stop. Any time employees are content concerning their occupation and are taken care of nicely by the business they work for, they can come to see themselves as part of that company. They're no longer someone working for you; they're someone working with you. This level of commitment is achieved over a long period of time because an employer takes the time to really make sure that employees are appreciated and involved in the creation of services and products. They need to feel like they're part of your company, not like they're part of your payroll.

Thanks to these types of gifts, employees can be at home and thinking of their work without feeling like you're taking advantage of them. In fact, you're building a sense of pride for your employees by giving them something that represents their own hard work, and that they can share with everyone at home to say, "This is MY organization, part of what I do." This is a cost effective way to advertise and may even help worker productivity while at the same time advertising the name of your industry to hundreds of outside sources. The products are useful for years in the future, too, meaning that the advertising goes on long after it has already paid for itself. This type of employee giveaway is always a good idea and many businesses
