Running The Race

The Race of Life becomes so interesting once you have accepted Jesus as Savior. All you need to do is stay in the race and endure to the end. You don't have to catch up with the others, just keep your own pace. You do not have to be faster and do not worry about trying to be stronger. However, you must be who God has called you to be and run the specific race wherein you have been called. Have you ever seen a runner start out fast from the start and not have enough endurance to finish the race? Have you ever seen a runner looking over their shoulder to see who is moving in closer? In this Christian Race your focus has to be on your personal relationship with Jesus Christ, He has placed in you gifts and talents that only you can do. Yes, there are others around you that have some of the same gifts and talents, but no one can do it exactly like you. May I encourage you once again, endure to the end and cross the finish line.

Scripture:

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12(New King James Version)

I returned and saw under the sun that

the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

Matthew 24:13(New King James Version)

But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the example Jesus set for us when he hung on the cross and said it is finished. He then passed the Paton to who ever believes on Him reassuring us He would never leave us nor forsake us. Help us to come to the realization that there is no competition in the race you have called us to run and we are not running our race along, you are with us. In Jesus Name Amen.
