Multi Level Marketing The 4 Reasons People Fail

Multi Level Marketing, what are the 4 reasons people fail at networking and multi level marketing? Basically they are the same 4 reasons people fail in any business. However, in the MLM business you will be treated much harsher than in a traditional business.

Ever notice that when a small business person gets in trouble through no fault of their own they are usually castigated by friends and foes alike? Yet, when a "BIG" business person, like a banker, fails or puts a bunch of small businesses out of business due to their negligence or greed, they are given a golden parachute and all is forgiven?

It's just the way it is. People understand very little about business in general and home based businesses in particular. It's a little known fact that small businesses represent almost 50% GNP and, in reality, are the backbone of the economy. Yet when they fail everybody decides they understand exactly what the problem was and why they should not have done that.

When you decide to join a network marketing company, if you fail, everybody is going to be telling you "I told you so." How many times have you heard "my cousin, brother-in-law, aunt, friend of a friend 'tried' Network Marketing and it doesn't work?" If it didn't "work" for them, I can guarantee you it was for one of only 4 possible reasons.

Before I tell you the 4 reasons, think about the person ranting about something they know little or nothing about. Are they people who are successful? Are they people who follow through on projects? Are they independent business people who have followed their dream?

Or are they the type of person who has never applied themselves consistently to anything? Are they the type of person who is content with a job and the dream of a two week vacation? Are they the type who is content to complain and second guess the doers?

I'll give you a network marketing tip, don't want to listen to these people. When you find the right network marketing company for you, you definitely don't want to ask them to join you. I don't want to be too harsh, however, chances are they would never be able to apply themselves in a networking business either. The result, if they try network marketing, is that they will fail. The bad part about them failing that is they will then feel justified to go around "trashing" this industry and saying it "doesn't work" when in reality they are the ones who "don't work."

In any event my advice is "don't fail." Here are the 4 reasons people fail in multi level marketing. Don't do these things.

People choose the wrong company.

Let's face it, it doesn't matter how many times you run around the decks of the Titanic.; the ship's going down and you're going with it. Fortunately, you have my network marketing "6 Key Points in Selecting a Company" to guide you so you probably won't pick the wrong one.

They either aren't coachable or they don't have access to a coach.

Each person is the Only one in control of whether or not they are coachable. While ideally your sponsor and upline are your coaches, sometimes your sponsor is brand new and sometimes there is a personality conflict with your upline. For those truly interested in building a business, this is not a problem. They can seek other people in the company to help them or they can look online for a coach where the resources are plentiful.

They're inconsistent or they don't treat their business like a business.

This business can be built full time or part time, however, it can NOT be built SOME time. Consistent action is key to success. A phone call one month and then no activity for 2 or 3 months, simply doesn't work.

They Quit.

No Activity = No Results.
