I didn't use this unit all that much it was in a guest bedroom but sure enough right after the warranty went out the darn thin broke down and could not be repaired.

Pleased with the Panasonic G25
The G25 has lived up to all expectations. A great television for the money - arrived in great shape and was easy to set up. Still waiting for Panasonic to annouce Netflix streaming...?
Excellent Buy
Had this plasma for about a month now. Get the 50 inch version, you won't regret it. Put this in THX mode and it is godly. The construction is excellent, picture quality is unmatched, menu is very navigable, and the remote control is great. Viera Cast is an awesome feature of this TV. While they still have not added Netflix, the rest of the features are great. Pandora is an awesome service for those interested in music. Amazon video on demand(awesome selection) video quality is high. Youtube however seems to default to 360p, whether the video has 480p, 720p, or even 1080p available. There is no way to manually force it to a better video mode. The speakers are good, but at times it is downright difficult to understand what people are saying. Don't buy an LCD or LED because you are concerned about this burning in. It has been made mostly irrelevant with recent plasmas. Btw, I did about 72 hours of break-in slides(from avsforum), not sure if it was really necessary but I did it anyways. Do NOT buy the expensive panasonic wireless adaptor. If your wireless router is too far from the tv, buy a cheap router and install DD WRT on it. You can then put it into client bridge mode and it essentially becomes a wireless adaptor. I bought a $35 ASUS WL-520GU and installed dd wrt v. 13525. This router worked perfectly with the tv. Make sure when the plasma arrives, you have an HDMI cable/flashlight ready to verify it is problem free before signing for it.

Just got this today and all I can say is WOW, what a picture. If you put this in Vivid mode it rivals the best LCD's. In Game mode, it's perfect for sporting events. I haven't had much of a chance to play with the toys yet and haven't bought the Blu Ray, which will be soon but the initial impressions are excellent. Sound is adequate but hooked up to the surround it becomes immaterial. Can't wait to do my own calibration and see what that brings. Great value.
I checked out the Samsung 550 and the LG PK750 but they don't come close to this unit in picture. Amazon pricing made them all basically equal.

Excellent TV
Excellent picture, easy to set up. Purchased this TV for $1,255 and it was money well spent. Thought about purchasing a Samsung, but the components of this TV are higher end.
I recommend getting HDMI cables through Amazon as well - retail prices are outrageous.
