It encourager you to engage in the kind of behaviour that would get you locked up for a very very long time if you were to try it in real life! But as often the case, the moral police's nightmare is the gamer's delight. Grand Theft Auto has been an extremely successful franchise, and this holds true for this edition, San Andreas.
Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas puts you in the boots of one Carl Johnson, or CJ as he is called throught the game. He was a resident of Los Santos, where he was member of one of the local street gangs, "The Grove Street Families", before he moved out. Now his mother's been murdered, and he returned to Los Santos to attend her funeral. Seeing the entire neighbourhood in disarray prompts him to stay back.
The beauty of Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas lies in the open-ended gameplay. There are missions that need to be undertaken to complete the game. But the player has complete freedom to roam around the map and do what he pleases. In fact, this is absolutely necessary av times. If you want to regenerate health, for instance, you need to go to a restaurant and buy food. Or if you want to increase body muscles and reduce fat, you have to go to the gym. There are also many side-missions, like having girlfriend. That may sound like fun, but it's hard work to keep them all happy, just like in real life!
Of course, the fact remains that the game basically consists of extremely graphic language and anti-social activities such as drive by shootings, theft, and even murder. It is therefore been rated Adult Only. But to the hardcore gamer, it translates to more fun!
This is one of the most interesting game on Xbox 360. It is long also, and if you don't want to finish missions, the game would never end. This game is available for Xbox 360, PlayStation and PC.
Controversies notwithstanding, this is one heck of a game and a must play for all (adult) gamers.
