Since the ring was originally set in platinum it looks as beautiful today as it did years ago, and it will for generations to come.

Lavish Wedding for William and Kate?

The royal wedding date is set on April 29 next year at Westminster Abbey, the place where Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip Duke of Edinburgh, Williams grandmother and grandfather was wedded 63 years ago. It is written over British newspapers that the royal family will spend approximately $40 million for the wedding ceremony. When Prince Charles and Camilla were wedded, the Queen itself paid the expenses. This time, Prince Charles will pay for his eldest sons special day as a tradition. Though sources said that Will and Kates wedding will not be as lavish compared to his parents wedding.

Although palace had been adamant in disclosing more details on William and Kate much awaited wedding, one thing is for sure; Prince William and Kates wedding will still be the new Wedding of the Century.
