According to a recent announcement by the airline, from June, passengers will be able take direct flights to Malaga, Spain from Docklands as well as direct flights to Faro in Portugal.

Good news for those planning their summer in Netherlands is that British Airways is increasing frequency of Flights to Amsterdam to six daily flights. Flights to and from Glasgow will also be raised to five daily flights and Edinburgh to eight daily flights in the coming summer. All this expansion is in addition to British Airways launching new services to Chambery in France in December and Stockholm in Sweden in January. The wholly owned British Airways subsidiary airline BA CityFlyer, will be operating these flights.

Also, the popular summer services to Palma and Ibiza will resume at the end of March and means that the airline will be offering 40 per cent more seats on the total London City network than it did in the same period this year. There will be 400 flights a week in British Airways colors from London City Airport.

The Malaga flights will operate four times a week and the Faro flights three times a week from 7 June

The BA CityFlyer fleet will have seven Embraer 190s and six 76-seat Embraer 170 aircraft

So be prepared to see a lot of British Airways next year !
