Despite being the Prime Minister of the country, he likes to hire back-alley hooligans and murderers to carry out his baser tasks. He likes to make his critics and political adversaries killed or disappeared. In the course of his wayward rule, he has committed several crimes towards humanity and democracy.
But the final call on the Ralph Gonsalves chapter is yet to unfold. The Prime Minister is reported importing ballot papers from Venezuela and Libya to replace authentic ones! His aim is to offer no chance to the Opposition at all. Hes ordered a plane to bring in bogus ballot papers through the Panama. The plane landed and unloaded the cargo to a truck painted with the ULP colors and a smiling Ralph Gonsalves stenciled on the door of the driver! Media reports are unusually silent on the matter because they fear a backlash. Every Vincentian knows that this is a make or break week for Ralph Gonsalves. He has already declared a month back that anyone coming between him and his Prime Ministers chair will be dealt with firmly. He has added their families as possible collateral damage. Yes, thats a reigning Prime Minister is resorting to so that he may win!
Its now up to the Vincentians to make a choice. Will they allow this man to dictate terms? With more powers and years at the top job, Comrade Ralph, or rather Corrupt Ralph, has made sure that nothing worth noting remains in St. Vincent and Grenadines. The economy is battered and bruised. Ralph has taken on more debt than SVG can ever hope to pay back. He has distributed relief material among people who are part of his vote bank. Other Vincentians got little aid that was bought from money pouring in from sympathetic citizens and governments of the world. When you are in St. Vincent and Grenadines, you cannot expect anything that you can safety. Women stand to be assaulted or raped any place, any time. Ralph himself raped several women over the years
To keep his evil hold on the country, Ralph will stop at nothing. This December the Vincentians will have to take a decision about their future. Do they want their country to plunge further into an abyss? Dont they want to live with dignity again? These can only be possible when Ralph Gonsalves is pulled from the throne and bring him to task. Its important not just to reject him, but also bring him to the courts that he has defiled with his treachery. Its payback time, Ralph!
