In what most viewers would call the fight that should have been Pacquiao vs Mayweather, Antonio Margarito will have a lot to prove tonight, as he steps back into the ring after an extended absence. At yesterday's weight-in, Antonio Margarito cam in at 150 lbs, while Manny Pacquiao came in at a very light 144 lbs. Boxing critics have said that the sheer size difference will be a huge task for Pacquiao, but as long as he can retain the same hand and foot speed that has made him the champion he is today, Manny will come out of this fight victorious.'
Bob Arum still thinks this fight will draw 60,000 to the massive 100,000 + capacity of Cowboy's Stadium, but most critics believe that this fight will rather be disappointing.
Both fighters looked ready for tonight's big clash, but many are wondering what will be next should Pacquiao beat Margarito. Of course, the first name that comes to mind is Floyd Mayweather Jr. If he can finally suck in his ego, and man up to make the fight of the next decade one to remember, will be up to one camp.
