Seek God First Before Making a Lane Change

I find it so rude, impolite, discourteous and just bad-mannered when an individual driver will not allow me to cut in, me of all drivers. So what; sometimes I don't always signal. They see that I am driving closer and closer to the white traffic line on the road trying to work my way into their lane of traffic. They should know what's going on, it should be so obvious; they act like they don't know, they act like they don't see me; they know what I'm trying to do. They see me.

So one day I just did it. Traffic was moving rather fast, I saw what I felt was just enough opening. I cut in very quick oh what a disaster. The individual that I cut in front of had someone riding her bumper so close; I actually thought she had a back seat passenger. I came so close, too close to having an accident that day. My heart was pumping cool-aid red. From my point of view I really though I could get in quick and occupy that section of the road.

Now when I want to make a lane change, I signal first. I have come to learn that there may be more going on then what meets the eye. I signal first, I let the other driver know my intention. I signal first and if they yield to my signal request I make the lane change, if not I stay in the lane that I am in. I'm not trying to become part of an accident.

In life we too must make many lane changes and it would be to our advantage to seek God first, SIGNAL FIRST, let God know what our intentions are. If God allows you and I to make the lane change then do it, if he does not allow us to enter in at that point in time there's a reason. There really is a reason. God may be trying to avoid you and I from becoming part of an accident.

Scripture: Proverbs 3:6 (New King James Version)

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father Help us this day to Signal First (acknowledge you first) of the lane changes in life we would like to make. If it opens for us; thank-you, if it does not open at this time, thank you for knowing the best time to allow us to make a change in lanes.

In Jesus Name. Amen
