Facebook Pages: Making a Business Page

Most of us know that Facebook is a social networking site. However, many also use it successfully for business purposes. Other than connecting individuals from different corners of the globe, Facebook also handles business deals between companies. A company or any organization can stay connected to clients through Facebook pages. This not only helps in nurturing the already existing business connections, but also paves the way for getting fresh contacts. Here we are discussing the ways of representing a business through your Facebook page.

First, log into your account and move to the home page. If you don't have a Facebook account, create one. It's easy and can be done absolutely free of cost. Once, you reach the home page, scroll down and click on the word 'Advertising'. The advertising page will appear on your screen. There, you'll come across an option called 'Pages'; click on it. Next, click on the green button with the label 'Create a Page'. Select and click on the category that fits your company profile best. You may create a business page for your company as a whole, an individual, a product or brand etc. Fill in the page with all the details that represent your business. If you feel that the page is ready, you can publish it. However, if you have more to add, you can click on the option 'Do Not Make Page Publicly Visible at This Time'. This will make sure that the page is not seen by any other Facebook user before you add the remaining content. You can display or hide the page whenever you want.

If required, you can edit these Facebook pages. The process of editing is a lot like editing your Facebook profile. You can configure the page settings, add company information and delete facts.
