Moreover, obese women are often the victims of depression. In this society that stresses the beauty of slenderness and sexiness, women who are obese face substantial social discrimination, even more than obese men. Likewise, obese women also face employment and workplace discrimination. In fact, a recent study shows that formerly obese women who underwent weight loss surgery saw a drop in unemployment from 84 to 64 percent.

Besides all these downsides of being obese, technology is now making way to make their lives more comfortable. A Philippine plastic surgeon said that obese women could always turn to cosmetic or plastic surgeons so you can discuss your weight loss options. Liposuction could be another option.

There are various surgical procedures that can help obese women such as liposuction together with dieting and exercise. Obese women should not feel less because of their physical appearance. In this technological world, every women has the right to be normal and to be called "beautiful".
