The parade starts this year at the Convention Center's south parking lot, then travels west to Price Street, north on Business Route 65, east onto Atlantic Street, south onto Commercial Street, east onto College Street, and then south onto Sycamore Street and back to the Convention Center.
Female veterans have not been forgotten. A rose-petal memorial ceremony and luncheon are scheduled for November 9 at Keeter Center, College of the Ozarks. Women from each branch of the armed services will be invited to drop rose petals into the fountain in honor of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the military.
