There's Something for Everyone at DC New Years Eve

The nation's capital is not only known for it's historical and political virtues, it is also know for how to throw a party on DC New Years Eve. Many visitors come to D.C. over the holiday season because the city is full of festive things to do.

Let's start with how you can celebrate your New Year's Eve. Since not all people enjoy the same level of entertainment, the city puts together events that have something for everyone. New Years Eve in Washington DC will be a night you'll remember. Bring along your family, friends, or significant other and find the right experience for you. There are galas at some of the finest luxury hotels that offer many fun and interesting things to do, including delicious food and plenty of mouthwatering champagne. There are also fabulous nightclubs, lounges, live music venues and top rated restaurants to dance and dine at as you count down the seconds to 2011.

Then the next morning after you relax and shake off the partying you did at DC New Years Eve, start thinking about all of the amazing things there are to see and do in a city filled with so many attractions it will take you several trips here to see them all. We would suggest getting a guidebook and marking off some places you'd like to see.

A lot of museums will be open New Year's Day and the memorials are always open. Take a walk down The Mall and sit by the Reflecting Pool and people watch. And be sure to see the White House. I mean, after all, this is where our president resides and it's quite a sight to behold. Also, Professionals in the City has events planned almost every day of the week.

DC New Years Eve is the place to celebrate the ringing in of 2011. Don't sit at home and watch the ball drop on TV. Make the trip to D.C. and have the vacation of your life.
