Energy is a representation of your true level of health. People who are healthier have a higher level of energy, and those who are sicker have less energy. Human cells generate enormous amounts of energy. Sick, diseased, cells don't. Energy management means doing things that will protect your energy level, maximize your energy production, and thus keep you in the best of health; this will allow you to achieve everything that you were created to achieve and contribute the most to those around you. We get more energy by fueling our bodies properly, directing our thoughts properly, and moving our bodies properly. To do that, we must put the right things into our bodies and our minds, and pay attention to those three primary areas of interference: physical, emotional, and chemical. As interference is lessened, the natural energy of the body will be expressed.Putting the right foods in your body is top priority. The foods that add the highest quality resources to energize the body are chemical free, plant-based, and organic. That means lots of vegetables, some fruits, whole, unprocessed grains (preferably sprouted); nuts and seeds (preferably water soaked), and legumes. If you choose to eat dairy and meat, you want it chemical-free, non-pasteurized, and organic; such as meat that has been grass-fed and not grain-fed (the omega-6 fats in grain-fed meats have an inflammatory and energy-draining effect on the human body). You also want to eat foods low in sugar because in the long term, sugar destroys energy; it does not create it. Avoid trans-fats at all costs, choosing instead good mono- and polyunsaturated fats found in avocados, olive oil, flaxseed oil, fish oils, almonds, and walnuts; these are healthy fats that help create energy and give your cells the building blocks and the resources to generate an enormous amount of energy. The second source of energy comes from moving your body. Every human being should move around at least thirty minutes a day, everyday. Movement creates energy. It gets your spine moving, thus your nervous system working, and oxygen pumping; it gets the lymphatic system flowing through your body, which eliminates wastes and toxins. The lymphatic system is like the gutter of your body. It collects all the refuse and toxins, junk and acids; but if you don't move, that stuff doesn't get pushed out and moved out of your body. The pump for your lymphatic system is not your heart, it's your muscles. The third source of energy comes from thinking the right thoughts and avoiding the toxic mindsets that cripple us emotionally and spiritually. Many studies have shown that being positive, enthusiastic, and encouraging makes us feel better in general. We have more energy and better mental clarity when we are around positive people speaking positive words. And try to notice next time that you're around a negative person; watch how fast you start to have negative thoughts: It drains you, it decreases your energy. These are some of the things we need to think about if we are to create tremendous energy and manage it properly. We want to create more energy so we can do the things we love to do in life. Energy makes it possible to accomplish our dreams and goals. It lets us contribute more, grow more, give more, serve more, love more, and become all that God has created us to be. It allows us to serve our brothers and sisters and to leave a positive, loving legacy for generations, as God would have us do.So why do we want more energy? To be a better parent and spouse, to be a better teacher or CEO, to be a better doctor, lawyer, minister, accountant, or whatever it is you do in life that makes a positive impact; it all requires energy. So we can simply say that energy is life and as long as you are putting the correct energy resources in your body and you are free of any subluxation, you will always have a good amount of energy.
