How Does The Rent to Own Process Work?
If you are one of the millions of people in the United States with "not-so-great" credit, relax... You may still have a chance to become a homeowner someday soon.
Have you ever considered a Rent to Own option, sometimes referred to as a lease purchase option?
If you are not familiar with either of the terms above, here is a quick explanation:
Quite simply, it is an arrangement in which you are paired with an with an investor who purchases the home for you and then you make monthly payments to he or she for a predetermined length of time. During that time, you rebuild your credit and eventually apply for a mortgage. Once you receive the mortgage you are officially a homeowner!
You'll be amazed at how easily the process works when you are able to cut the banks out of the negotiation process. You will be able to talk directly with the investor, and cut a deal. No banks means you get right to business...
So the first thing to do is determine your 6 Key Variables for Beginning The Rent To Own Process:
(1) Get Credit Score and Report
Even though you are not qualifying through a traditional bank process, our investors and home owners will need to know you are on the right track to improving your financial situation.

(2) The Down Payment
We need to know how much you have for a down-payment. The more the better, but a large downpayment isn't absolutely neccesary. We'll maximize government grants and programs to beef up your starting point.
(3) Where Do You Want To Live
Do your homework and find out where you want to be for the next few years and what area is the best for you and your family. This is part 1 of the fun stuff. Think fast as the market changes quickly and that home may not be there when you're ready!
(4) Go And Search For A Home
This is part 2 of the fun stuff. You actually go and look for your home. Once you find it you simply send to our support team. Don't select just one, but broaden your search to 2 or 3 homes.
(5) Your Expectant Move Date
Easy enough. Most clients plan this day around the termination of their current rental agreement so they can avoid any kind of fee. But we may be able to help you if your current agreement is not realistic.
(6) Your Affordable Monthly Payment
Obviously you need a monthly payment that will keep you living comfortably. Let us know this number and it will greatly speed up the qualification process.
