There are three primary swinger types with several variations. The three primary types are:
Full Swap, Same Room - This is when the couples swap partners with little to no "rules" or restrictions. It all happens in the same room so everyone involved can watch their partner satisfy and be satisfied, while they are satisfying and being satisfied themselves. Many full swap couples will play with other couples as well as single men and women. A good majority of couples in the swinger lifestyle are full swap couples, same room swingers.
Full Swap, Separate Room This is when the couples swap partners, then play in separate rooms without their partner being present, usually in the same house or apartment. Many couples enjoy this because it allows them to be a bit more uninhibited and really enjoy the experience without interruption.
Soft Swap This is typically done by "newer" swingers who aren't quite sure how they feel about the whole swinging thing yet and just want to test the waters, although there are a few experienced swingers who stick with soft swap. A soft swap occurs when there is no penetration, but there is foreplay, touching and possibly kissing. The specifics of what is and isn't allowed during a soft swap vary from couple to couple.
And no matter which type of swinger you are, there are always variations. Every swinger likes something a little differently than others. Some have rules, some don't. Some swinger couples only play with single men, others only play with couples and others only single women.
