DETROIT GMC Sierra MI owners may remember that the GMC Sierra was awarded MI Auto Times Best Truck back in July; however, they may not easily recall the reasons why the truck captured the title.
MI Auto Times is setting out to recap the victory and provide insight about how the full-size pickup truck is performing in the industry.
For starters, the GMC Sierra sales have increased 5 percent. Tom Moran, President of Buick GMC Detroit Local Marketing Association anticipates that number will spike greatly during Truck Month, which officially began Friday, Oct. 1.
"The GMC Sierra is going to experience a tremendous amount of growth and gain market share in the coming month because GM is aggressively pursuing lease options on the GMC Sierra and many other vehicles in the lineup," said Mr. Moran. "Whereas lease payments for the Sierra had hovered at the $400 level, buyers will now find that number has been cut in half to the low $200s. As dealers, we couldn't be more excited. Truck Month is going to provide a whole new level of access for customers who otherwise would never consider a lease agreement before because it's been priced out of their reach."
Good news for GMC Sierra MI drivers who are wondering how the truck is doing.
