subject: Which Airlines Has Mood Lighting And Soundtracks In The Bathroom [print this page]

Some airlines are trying to improve the quality of the service they provide by making little tweaks to the ambience in their airplanes to make it a nicer location for customers. But are airlines taking it to far when they include mood lighting in toilets?

The airline concerned is Virgin America. They have taken to lighting up their bathrooms in order to make the flight more enjoyable for customers. Doing so makes going to the bathroom, especially when it's late at night less of a shock to the iris. It also makes the plane seem more like a fancy restaurant than a simple means of transportation. The lighting will also flatter a person image in the mirror, making them seem less tired and likely more alluring. You may be able to witness the mood lighting first person if you want to my booking yourself and any other travelling companions you decide to take on flights from Los Angeles to Denver.

And that's not all that Virgin America has planned for it's bathroom style facelift. The founder of Virgin America, Richard Branson, seems to enjoy adding a few nice little touches to his aircraft. So if you take regular and frequent flights from Knoxville to Las Vegas then you may notice that your visit to the bathroom while on the plane is accompanied by a soundtrack. Against going by the up-market and fancy method of improving his flights, Branson and his team at Virgin America added music to your bathroom visit. Flights from Los Angeles to Singapore will not yet carry the additional things but cannot be far off.

Other people have explained that the lighting could be set to coincide with the destination's daylight hours, to help prevent such serious jetlag from afflicting passengers.
