Well this was a fun subject and ultimately going to be a fun purchase, finally! My whole family is in love with sports so when I suggested we get sports bedding to show off our favorite teams, all eyes lit up and the yes's started ringing throughout the whole house. I took my boys and we headed to the Mall to check out what's available in sports bedding for their beds, but found the best sports bedding choices online.
My youngest son who is 12 years old, love's soccer, football and baseball so I figured this was going to be a full day of indecision's, and I knew I would have to pull the dad card and just say"choose one already"haha. He settled on getting baseball sports bedding and with the New York Yankees being his favorite team, we started the search for Yankees sports bedding. He wanted a big soft bed spread with the Yankees logo and pillow cases to match. This was pretty easy; they had a package set that even came with a Yankees throw rug too. Well that was a fairly easy and a painless find.
My 16 year old is a huge football fan and even though I was reluctant, because I am a New York Football Giants fan, his favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. So, we started looking at Cowboys sports bedding. Ugh! I felt kind of dirty while checking out my NFC rival Cowboys gear. Again, I figured searching online was the best way to start, and I was right. Don't fix what isn't broken. There's So much Cowboys stuff out there for anything and everything you could want, or He could ever want, that his sports bedding was easily one click away. We chose the huge Cowboy star for his bed spread and one pillow case had Dallas and the other pillow case had Cowboys on them. Score! He was one happy Cowboys fan.
Now for me, this time around, I didn't have to consult with a significant other on what colors and what scheme we wanted for our bedding to be, and how it had to match the paint, and furnitureblah blah blah. It was awesome to have free reign on what I wanted to get. I wasn't sure if I wanted a full set of sports bedding or not, until I saw the full set of Giants sports bedding right in front of me. I was sold from the first glance. I purchased a bed spread, pillow cases, sheets and a throw rug too. Now I Really feel and look like a Giants fan. You can't walk into my room without seeing the huge Giants logo on my king size bed. Nice!
I guess the moral of my story is, buying sports bedding online is so much easier than going from sports shop, to sports shop. Plus, you get way more choices, and the coolest part of all is, we found better prices online than any sports store around us was offering. We are now a full on sports family, from our cool new bedding, to the posters and flag's of our favorite teams. Good times!
