Sugar can really throw your insulin levels out of whack.When this happens, the body converts the glucose into fat, and you still feel hungry. Try to avoid sugar at all costs.

Some naturally occurring sugar in things like fruit is OK,since it is a different type of sugar that should have little or no effect on your insulin levels.
